Gino's Portable Salad recipe is an easy way to get in your veggies! 1. Place several tablespoons of your favorite low-calorie salad dressing in a 1 quart glass jar. 2. Add your favorite toppings (whatever you like - chopped veggies and other low-calorie toppings). 3. Add lettuce, spinach, etc. on top of your toppings. 4. Screw the top on the jar and place in the fridge. Prepare several jars in advance to have them ready to go over the next couple days. Just grab your portable salad and bring it with you to work or any where you may be headed. By placing the dressing on the bottom the salad and toppings stay fresh for several days.
